Lombok the island itself is about a 200 km drive round trip. For a small Island it has definite regions so significantly different to each other. Senaru is Located in North part of Rinjani National Park and it's a gate for all the trekker to enter Rinjani National Park except Sembalun Lawang in the North east side. Senaru is about 980 meter from sea level with temperature during raining season is 32 degree Celsius during the day and 25 degree Celsius in the night time. Mt. Rinjani forms the second highest volcanic peak in Indonesia, part of celebrated “Ring of Fire”. The dramatic landscape has been created over millions of year of cone - building, violent explosions, and erosion. Forested slopes rising directly from the sea create their own weather pattern and act as water - collectors for the hole of Lombok. Mount Rinjani is an active volcano in Indonesia on the island of Lombok. It rises to 3,726 m (12,224 ft), making it the third-largest volcano in Indonesia. The first historical eruption occurred in September of 1847. The volcano, and its sacred, and spectacular Segara anak crater lake, are protected by a national park established in 1997. The 6 km by 8.5 km oval-shaped caldera is filled partially by a lake known as Segara Anak. The eruptions of 1994, 1995, and 1996 have formed a small cone in the center of the caldera and lava flows from these eruptions have entered the lake. We leave from Senggigi at 04.00 am and approximately 3 hours drive to Senaru Village by private car through a beautiful landscape on the way to Senaru Village, we reach the Senaru Village at 06.00 am and after get your breakfast, we continue our trip to rainforest with the beautiful interesting flora and fauna, we will arrive at post III at 11.00 am or 12.00 at noon for lunch time. And another 1,5 hours trek to Cemara 5 and we reach the rim of Senaru another 1 hour to enjoy the nice view by the rim to overlook all over the view of Mount Rinjani and another 5 hours descend down to Senaru Village and transport will be waiting for you there to transfer you back to Senggigi, you will be arriving at 20.20 pm in Senggigi or earlier. We leave from your Hotel in Senggigi at 03.00 am and approximately 3 hours drive to Senaru Village by private Car through a nice panorama on the way to Senaru Village and arrive at 05.00 am, after breakfast we continue to transfer to Sembalun, starting is necessary for the hard climbing 6 or 7 hours climbing to the rim of Sembalun (2639 M). Enjoy proud feeling of satisfaction and amazing view cross the wallace line to Bali Mount Agung. We descend down to the Village of Sembalun, a journey about 4 or 5 hours your transport will be waiting for you there to transfer you back to Senggigi, you will be arriving in Senggigi at 21.40pm or earlier.
